To reset your Linksys device, you'll need to locate the reset button. The exact location of the button will vary between devices.
The reset button is usually found on the back of the router. It's often very small and sometimes labeled with the word Reset.
If you still can't find it, check online for a manual for your exact router model. These include diagrams that label each component.
Press the Reset button and hold it for at least 10 seconds. This will initiate the factory reset on your Linksys router. A flashing Power LED means the reset is working.
If the device doesn't reset, you may need to hold the Reset button for a longer time. Older Linksys routers require the Reset button to be pressed for at least 30 seconds.
A factory reset will restore the default administrator login credentials. To log in, you will need to use this username and password:
