First we'll need to open the Settings menu found at the top of the screen.
Next open My Fire TV. Older models may label this option as Device instead. Open whichever selection is available on your device.
The update option is under the About screen. Select it from the menu.
From here, you should have the option to Install System Update. If your Firestick device has no updates available for install, it will say Check for Updates instead. Select whichever option you have to ensure the device is up to date.
The update will install automatically. You may need to wait a few minutes for the installation to complete. Once everything is finished, the Fire Stick device will reboot. Congratulations! Your Fire TV Stick is up to date.

Some things are better not to be forgotten in life. When you own multiple devices, it becomes more difficult to remember all of the passcodes and passwords for each one.
