If you've got a Belkin router, you might need to change the Wi-Fi password.

Changing your Wi-Fi password adds an extra level of security to your network. The more often you change it, the better—especially if the new passwords are sufficiently complex.

The process is easy, all you need is a computer or tablet connected to the Belkin router you want to update.

1

Open any web browser of your choosing (Chrome, Firefox, etc). As long as the device you’re using is connected to the Belkin network to which you want to make changes.

2

In the address bar, navigate to http://router or use the IP address of your router. The default IP address for Belkin devices is 192.168.2.1.

3

You will be prompted to log into the web interface. Enter your current admin username and password. If you've never set a password, the field can be left blank.
