The 15 Best TV Shows From the '90s and How To Watch Them Now (2022)
Every '90s baby knows '90s television was the best. TV in the '90s didn't have the amazing CGI or big budgets today's television often has, but it paved the paths for some of the most well-known actors, actresses, and shows on TV today. '90s television wasn't as instantly gratifying as today's television is. You couldn't go on Netflix and binge four seasons of a show in a couple of days (unless you owned them on VHS). You waited all week for an episode to air so you could sit in the living room as a group with your friends and family, and watch that show you can't get enough of. Or you went to Blockbuster (one of the big businesses from the '90s to disappear) and had to get like 20 different VHS tapes to watch the reruns.
'90s TV brought the whole family into one room, because most families didn't have multiple televisions in the home in the '90s. It brought people and families together. Some of my favorite memories growing up are laughing in front of the TV with my dad and big brother, or building a blanket fort with my brothers and watching our favorite show, or sitting on the floor eating snacks and watching my little brother get lost in his favorite series. We'd grab some nostalgic snacks and just enjoy.
Of course, not all TV shows are created equal. Some TV shows from the '90s became cult classics, are still popular today, are handed down to younger generations, and some hold a soft spot in our hearts, becoming a fond memory and making us feel warm and nostalgic inside. Whatever the case, some '90s television shows remain loved, while others faded into history.
Here are some of the most memorable and my 15 favorite television shows from the '90s ranked from 15 to 1, and find out where you can watch them today!
