You can set up your Apple computer so that when you double-click the menu bar it minimizes the application. This is a huge time saver and is OS X does not do this by default.

Click on the Apple icon in the top-left of your screen and select System Preferences.

Check the option

Check the option for "Double-click a window's title bar to minimize". Close the preferences window to save your settings.
