Stop Spotify from Opening Automatically on Mac Startup

Spotify opens by default when you start up macOS. Oddly enough, the standard Mac mechanism for right clicking the icon and unchecking "Options > Open at Login" doesn't work here.

This guide will show you how to disable this functionality once and for all so that Spotify has to be opened manually on boot.
