Connecting Bluetooth devices on Windows 10 is really simple. You will need a machine that's capable of using Bluetooth. This process should work for both internal and external Bluetooth adapters.

To add a Bluetooth device to a Windows 10 machine, you'll need to adjust a few settings. There are two ways to access Bluetooth settings in Windows. This guide covers both ways to access the menu.

The quickest way to access the Bluetooth settings is through the Start Menu.

  1. Open the Start Menu
  2. Type Bluetooth
  3. Choose Bluetooth and other Device Settings

Once the menu opens, click Add Bluetooth or other device at the top. Select Bluetooth from the menu. Make sure your Bluetooth device is in pairing mode.

It's also possible to access Bluetooth controls from the Settings menu.

  1. Open the Start Menu
  2. Choose Settings
  3. Select Devices
  4. Click Bluetooth & other devices

When the Bluetooth menu loads, click Add a Bluetooth or other device at the top. A menu will ask what type of device to add, choose Bluetooth. Make sure your Bluetooth device is in pairing mode.
