So you've got yourself a new pair of Apple AirPods or AirPods Pro. Apple AirPods can pair with other devices using Bluetooth. This means that, yes, you can use AirPods with Android phones. All you need is to check that your AirPods are charged and grab your Android phone with Bluetooth.

Android Bluetooth settings

The exact location of your Bluetooth settings might vary slightly depending on your manufacturer and OS edition. In most cases, you can open the Bluetooth settings under the main Settings app.

Enable Bluetooth

If it isn't already, enable Bluetooth on your Android phone. This should open a list of devices you can connect to.

Take your Apple AirPods case and open it. There should be a white button on the back side. Press this button and hold the case near your Android phone.

The AirPods and AirPods Pro should appear as a new Bluetooth device. Tap the AirPods entry to connect them to your Android phone.

If you want to remove the AirPods, open the same Bluetooth settings menu and remove the AirPods entry from the list of previously connected devices.
