If you want to get rid of a page in your Google Doc, then the simplest way is also the oldest way.
- Highlight the text on the entire page you want to delete.
- Right-click and select Delete, or hit delete on your keyboard.
That will cause the remaining text to jump up to fill in the space. If you want to leave a blank space instead, then place your cursor where you want the blank page to start and go to Insert > Break > Page break.
If you're using page breaks in your Google Doc, then you can easily view those page breaks and delete the pages you don't want.
How to delete a page break in Google Docs
- Place your cursor after the page break.
- Hit back or backspace on your keyboard to remove the page break.
If you find yourself constantly needing to remove whole pages, then we recommend you use page breaks more often in your Google Docs. To break the page as your writing, simply press cmd + enter to force a page break.
