Hulu is one of the biggest competitors to streaming giant Netflix. In many cases, if something isn't on Netflix it's probably on Hulu. You can choose from a variety of plans to access hundreds of movies, shows, and more. Some plans include ads while others exclude them at a higher price.

If you want to get your hands on a subscription for free or at a serious discount, you have a couple of options. If you're expecting a totally free pass to Hulu, be aware that many of these options are for trials, extended trials, and bundle offers from other companies.

The easiest way to get free access to Hulu is to sign up for a new account. Each new customer receives one free month of Hulu. You can cancel the service at any time during the trial.

Visit the official Hulu website
Click Start Your Free Trial
Select a plan—there's one with ads, one with no ads, and one plan that includes Live TV.
Create your Hulu account by filling out the form on the website.
Complete the subscription checkout process. You will need a card to register but won't be charged if you cancel the plan before the trial is over.

How to get free access to Hulu with Sprint

Visit the official Sprint website and sign in.
Go to the Hulu page on the Sprint website.
Scroll down and select Activate Now.
Select a phone to watch Hulu on.

You will receive a text message from Sprint with a URL to complete the registration process.
