How to Connect a PlayStation Controller to an iPhone
If you've read any of my guides on Howchoo, you know I love a good mobile game. Mobile gaming is a fun way to pass the time, get in some self-care, and get in some gaming time. While the controls for mobile games are always evolving and improving, there are some mobile games that the controls just aren't the best for. Maybe the game is tons of fun, but the controls aren't as intuitive as they could be. Maybe the controls are well-done in-game, but you really prefer the feel and gameplay offered with a controller.
Whatever the case, controllers allow for more accurate and fluid controls when playing your favorite games on your iPhone. I love to play with a controller to get an edge on the competition. Usually, I use a Dualshock 4 controller to play my favorite games on mobile. If you also have an iPhone and want to try out playing your mobile games using a controller, follow these four simple steps and let us know what you think!
Note: These steps were completed using a Dualshock 4 controller versus its predecessors. Also, note that you will need to have iOS 13 before moving forward. If you do not have iOS 13 or later, you will need to update first.
